Madhuri Kathe

Madhuri Kathe is a well-established artist renowned for her mixed-media abstract works. Deeply rooted in spirituality, she views art as a vivid expression of the cosmos’ inner beauty. Her practice involves a unique blend of materials—such as medical gauze, tissue, and handmade Korean papers—layered with acrylics to create richly textured canvases.

Her palette draws from soothing shades like sea green, burnt orange, blue, purple, pale yellow, and white, reflecting her deep connection with nature, which remains a central inspiration in her work.

Madhuri’s artistic journey began early in life and was nurtured through formal training in Madhya Pradesh. She holds a Master’s degree in Drawing and Painting from Vikram University, Ujjain, as well as a second Master’s in Ancient Indian History and Archaeology.
