Nilesh Prajapati

Painting for Nilesh Prajapati’s is a way of expressing his ideas of meditation. His canvases are generally dark-hued, offering the work a grim and brooding quality. Working from top to the bottom, Prajapati’s colours seem to emerge from an all-encompassing blackness, possibly pointing towards a life philosophy that the artist follows. Most of the works have an area that is intentional discoloured and immediately draws attention, making it the central focus of the work. Prajapati has also dabbled in tantric symbolism, with a similar colour palette.
