Sachin Akalekar

Sachin Akalekar, born on 22nd December 1976 in a small village in Kolhapur district (Maharashtra) has done his Foundation from the government school of art in Aurangabad followed by a diploma in Art Teacher (ATD) & BFA from Pune. His artwork has had the honour of reaching across far and wide through the various exhibits in Mumbai and Pune. In Pune, his paintings were displayed at Art for Heart’s sake an endeavour by Empathy that was taken up for a social cause. He has done numerous exhibitions, solo shows, group shows and has also won various prestigious awards for his fantastic talent in art.  As an artist, some of his domains include acrylic and mixed media. His paintings are inspired by nature and people as nothing fascinates or excites him like creating figurative and conceptual paintings. Sachin Akalekar is also very well known for his Nandi (Bull) series.
