Born in the temple town of Srikalahasthi, Andhra Pradesh, Chandra Morkonda is a contemporary Indian artist whose paintings are deeply rooted in Indian mythology, spirituality and nature. A graduate of JNTU Hyderabad and Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, Chandra creates vibrant compositions inspired by Hindu philosophy, tribal traditions and childhood memories. His artworks beautifully merge sacred symbolism with contemporary expression, making his work instantly recognisable.
