Suresh Gulage

Born in 1983, Suresh Gulage has G.D. in painting (2004) and a diploma in Art Education (2005) from Abhinav Mahavidyalaya, Pune. In his 5 years of intense study of art, he developed and polished his artistic expression and the master now presents to the world his unique take on villages and buildings. Suresh Gulage decided to make an identity for himself and he made architectural landscapes his trademark work. He says “Buildings might be mute spectators, but they hold the life of a city.” Suresh loves to watch the light play on buildings as the same light illuminate different parts of a building in many different ways i.e.; windows, doors, and motifs on the wall give out a different feel in the same light. Besides the same building looks different at various times of the day and he loves to capture that sight. Through brushwork and hues, he highlights the beauty of buildings by recreating these marvels using a vibrant color palette and technique that oscillates between being in the face to subtle and suggestive both instances replete with the exquisiteness of the built form.
